Marcello Guidotti, - Italian- 35 years old, Financial & Investor Relations Director of Ecorodovias S/A.
As a manager of the Italian Group, Impregilo SpA, the largest Italian General Contractor, he accumulates almost 10 years work experience in various Latin American projects.
In particular in 1997 joined as CFO the IMPREGILO S.p.A. Guatemala Republic branch during in the execution of various projects, basically related to the construction and rehabilitation of roads and highways.
In 1999 participates in the Consorcio Aqueducto Oriental, a 120 USD millions Contract for the realization of a water treatment plant and pipeline in the north-est side of Santo Domingo. The contract job was partially financed by the Dominican government togheter with an import-export credit operation.
In 2001 he moved to Lima, Peru, as the CFO & IRO of the Consorcio Agua Azul SA the Concessionaire Company responsible for the exploitation of the Rio Chillón superficial and subterranean waters, providing the access of drinking water to the north cone of the capital city, Lima. A 27 years B.O.T. contract, whose initial investments, expected within the first two years of concession, were established in usd 57 millions.
The relative Project Financing included a USD bond issuing into the Peruvian financial market for a total amount of USD 40 millions and USD 20 millions of equity contribution.
Marcello starts his Brazilian experience in October 2002, in the Ecorodovia’s Group as CFO & IRO of the Empresa Concesionaria de Rodovias do Sul s.a. –Ecosul the Concessionaire Company for the management of the Pelotas’s Highway System (Rio Grande do Sul) within 25 years. It operates five toll stations over a 620 km road’s extension with estimated annual revenues for the 2006 of 30 USD millions. A successful bond issuing in the Brazilian financial market, financed most of the initial recuperation works of the highway system.
Actually, as the CFO of Ecorodovias, he is working in the preparation of the Company’s Initial Public Offer in the Brazilian Stock Exchange market.
Marcello holds a Master Degree in Economics from the Bologna’s University of Studies, Italy.
